The Bordadeiras da Coroa group, from Rio de Janeiro, has opened the doors to its new headquarters and shop. The space, as well as special sewing rooms, has a large terrace where women from the community will be welcomed for training activities and dialogues on human rights. The project to renovate the space was financed by ELAS with funds from an individual donor. In the coming months, the group will take part in the Solidarity Economy Forum and plan workshops and activities to market the products at a big bazaar at the end of the year.
