BrazilFoundation has launched a public call inviting organizations to submit their proposals, during the period from October 15 to November 30, 2015, for projects in the areas of education and culture, health, socio-economic development, human rights and civic participation, and social business.

In this 2016 cycle of support, the foundation is offering funding to civil society organizations at two levels: Seed Investment (up to 30,000 reais) and Methodology Improvement (up to 50,000 reais). The call for proposals will cover the entire national territory, serving the most diverse target audiences, but there will be a special focus on the city of Rio de Janeiro and on projects focused on women (through funds obtained by the Women for Women campaign).

In addition to financial support, BrazilFoundation offers the selected organizations a leadership and management training process.

In keeping with its tradition of responding to the demands of the social sector in Brazil, BrazilFoundation is launching two other innovative selection processes: Collaborative Arrangements (financing partnerships between two or more institutions) and the Community Innovation Award (microfinancing for informal initiatives identified through our network of partners). As these two types of support are in their pilot phase, they are only available to organizations that are already part of the BrazilFoundation Leadership Network.

To take part in the selection process, simply fill in the Support Proposal Form available on the website: www.brazilfoundation.org.
