The course aims to generate a broader debate on tackling racism and gender and ethnic inequalities. It is one of the Federation's actions to publicize the International Year of People of African Descent in conjunction with the racial and ethnic self-declaration campaign: "Real journalist, assume your identity".
The initiative is free and will take place in August and September 2011 in eight cities: Belém, Fortaleza, Maceió, Manaus, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
