EncontrADA is currently a meeting aimed at women, trans people, lesbians and artistic, social and cultural collectives. The meeting will take place in Serrinha do Alambari - Resende, RJ (Brazil) between June 2 and 5, 2016.
EncontrADA began in 2012 as part of the program of activities at Nuvem - Estação Rural de Arte e Tecnologia. With the call for bodies, feminism and technology: free! the meeting brought together different feminist collectives from across Brazil. Over the last four years, the meeting has been reworking its format and building a network that seeks to share research, practices and affections around feminist politics. Our network has gone from strength to strength, maintaining constant mutual support and the desire to broaden Leadership in its different ways.
The 2016 edition, EncontrADA: technologies, management and care, through an open call, presents itself as a possibility to build moments and spaces of empowerment for a diversity of practices.
