ELAS Fund launches video today Building Movementspartnership for rightswhich presents our powerful partnership with the British Council, Open Society Foundations Brazil, UN Women and OAK Foundation for the rights of Brazilian women.

The partnership aims to strengthen the women's movement in the defense of democracy in the current context of a rollback of rights. Together, the partners launched the Building Movementsprogram, which begins with these organizations but aims to bring together new partners interested in strengthening civil society and the democratic struggle for women's rights in Latin America.

The program's first activity was the Dialogue Building Movements: Rights and New Directionsa meeting of women from all over Brazil and other Latin American countries to discuss the context of the struggle for women's rights and draw up joint strategies for the women's movement's agenda. The Dialogue took place from January 25 to 28 in Rio de Janeiro and was broadcast online(check it out here).
