Program advisor Savana Brito and communications manager Renata Saavedra took part in the II International Seminar Undoing Gender, which took place from September 4 to 7 at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) in Salvador. The event brought US philosopher Judith Butler to Brazil for the first time and she gave the opening lecture.

Considered a benchmark for debates on sexuality and gender, the seminar is in its second edition and has brought together 1,500 researchers and activists from Brazil and abroad. This year's theme was "Activisms of Sexual and Gender Dissidence".

The extensive program also included six round tables, 71 thematic symposia, 25 mini-courses, 25 workshops, poster exhibitions, performances, music, theater and other artistic activities.
