The ELAS Social Investment Fund is a non-profit civil society organization whose aim is to promote women's action and creative solutions for social change, gender equity, peace and justice to advance women's rights in Brazil.
It is an independent fundraising & grantmaking entity with the mission of promoting and strengthening women's Leadership by mobilizing and investing resources in their initiatives. Our practice is guided by values such as passion for women's causes, respect for singularity, subjectivity and multiplicity, bonds of trust, citizen donations and transparency.
Based in Rio de Janeiro, the ELAS Fund mobilizes resources from various sources, in Brazil and abroad, and provides financial and technical support to women's organizations and informal groups throughout Brazil.
The professional hired will work as a project analyst, supporting Program Management. The area reports directly to the coordinators. The professional must be part of the team, which means working in an integrated manner with all areas of the ELAS Fund, taking part in team meetings and representing the ELAS Fund at external events when necessary.

Selection process
It will be done in three stages:
a. Analysis of CV and letters;
b. Interviews with those selected in the first phase;
c. Announcement of results
Requirements
- Female professionals with higher education;
- Spoken and written English indispensable (mainly for producing reports in English and Skype meetings with donors and international partners);
- Spanish desirable
- Interest in working in a feminist organization and with social movements;
- Immediate availability (start November 1, 2017)
- Willingness to travel, work evenings and weekends, if necessary (compensated by time bank);
- Commitment to exclusive dedication;
- Experience in systematizing reports and producing reports;
- Computer skills with text programs, spreadsheets and presentations (or willingness to use them);
