The organizations Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) and Win Win Coalition have launched a case study on the partnership between the Avon Institute and the ELAS Fund. This establishes the Speak Without Fear Fund as an internationally recognized national success story that shows the potential of partnerships with companies to end violence against women.

The case study was launched on October 31 at the "Investing in Women - Member Meeting Collective business action on women's empowerment" event in New York, promoted by BSR in collaboration with ICRW and the Win Win Coalition.

The case is part of "Investing in Women", a BSR platform on investing for the empowerment of women, which brings together good practices in this regard and companies that have actions in this area. This initiative includes companies such as Gap, PepsiCo, Symantec, Kate Spade, Intel, Qualcomm, Estee Lauder, Dell, TD Bank, M&S, S&P Global, Chanel and Jabil.

Successful partnership has already supported 75 projects

Since 2012, the Fale Sem Medo Fund has been supporting actions by civil society groups and organizations that promote the fight against violence against women. The strategic partnership for the cause brings together the experience with women's organizations that characterizes the work of the ELAS Fund and the strength of action and fundraising of the Avon Institute, which has directed important resources to the cause in recent years.

The Speak Without Fear Fund has already supported 75 projects and has been strengthened by the results achieved by grantees. In December 2015, the Avon Institute and the ELAS Fund launched the third call for proposals for the Speak Without Fear Fund. 33 projects are currently being supported throughout Brazil.
