This March 8, in addition to celebrating International Women's Day, women's organizations around the world will pay tribute to the Haitian feminist leaders who died in January. One of the main events will take place in Catherine Flon Square, located in the center of Port-au-Prince, a space that represents the participation of Haitian women in the war that resulted in the country's independence two centuries ago.
