The Consulado da Mulher Award, an initiative of the Consulado da Mulher Institute, will reward 10 groups of women entrepreneurs from all over Brazil who work in the food sector. The deadline for entries is April 10th.
 
The selected groups will take part in training events using the Consulado da Mulher Institute's Enterprise Management methodology. In addition, the projects will also receive: advice for two years, which includes support in business management and technical training; Consul appliances to increase production and R$10,000 to invest in the business's infrastructure.
 
To apply, women's groups must work in the food sector and meet the following criteria:
 
-Networking: being collective or working in a network format (several individuals working together).
- Leadership female: have female leaders and be made up of at least 70% women.
- Vulnerability: at least 70% of the group with per capita family income equal to or less than 1 minimum monthly wage.
- Sustainability: at least 1 year in existence, own infrastructure, prospects of formalization and growth.
Partnership: to be entered in this award by an entity registered with the National Register of Legal Entities (CNPJ), which is non-profit-making and already working with the group.
 
Held since 2013, the Consulado da Mulher Award is an initiative of the Consulado da Mulher Institute, a Consul social action that supports female entrepreneurship and income generation.
