With the support of the International Women's Health Coalition (IWHC), the Kellog Foundation and individual donors, Amália Fischer, ELAS' Executive Director, held meetings with various organizations and institutions in Europe in May and June, with the aim of raising ELAS' profile, presenting the national scenario for women and building new alliances and partnerships. The strategy continued in June in the United States with meetings and presentations by Communications and Development Manager Veronica Marques.
"I would like to thank everyone who welcomed us and allowed us to show them ELAS' work and how we are supporting the construction of a new reality for Brazilian women. In particular, I'd like to say thank you to Myriam Marques, Júlia Tordoya and Macu Gimeno, who supported us by donating accommodation and food in their countries," says Amália.
