The ELAS+, over two decades of action from its vision - - has developed a pioneering methodology for organizing cis and trans women's groups. Giving for change - has developed a pioneering methodology of Grantmaking to groups and organizations of cis, trans and other transident women.

ELAS+ Giving for change supports formal or informal groups and organizations led by women.
Believing in women is a paradigm shift. With the resources they receive through calls for proposals, groups or organizations can develop actions to benefit their causes and strengthen their institutions.
In six editions of the program Building Movements, the largest public notice of ELAS+, 362 initiatives were benefited, totaling about R$ 18 million invested in social solutions developed by women and transgender people in all regions of Brazil.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, resources have been made more flexible for each organization or group to assess their priorities.

Our Capillarity
We got there, where there is some small group of women looking for support for their activism. ELAS+ allows them not to feel alone! Our methodologies favor relationship building, providing multiple possibilities for network learning. In addition to financially supporting the groups, ELAS+ works with the leaders by offering seminars on various topics. With the conversations in the Dialogues, each group learns from the other. It is the moment when organizations support each other and deepen their knowledge of the struggle for the multiple causes that are important to these diverse women.
Networks
ELAS+ Giving for change is active in national, Latin American, European, African and Asian networks. These are organizations that promote social investment in women and transgender people. They are our partners in philanthropy with respect to the achievement of rights. ELAS+ has a cause, it is integrated with the struggle of women to end violence, gender equity, economic empowerment, end inequality and emancipation, socio-environmental justice. We support organizations, generating participation and connections, always stimulating networks. ELAS+ has learned that isolated support does not bear fruit and therefore always acts collectively.
