The entrepreneurs of the Saborearte restaurant in Jardim Batan, Realengo (RJ), are celebrating. On November 3, at 12 noon, they will be celebrating the first anniversary of the restaurant, which they conceived and implemented with the support of Chevron and ELAS. During its first year of operation, the business has undergone many transformations.
The six partners have renovated the business and now plan to cater for PAC construction workers, create new menus and extend opening hours. Currently, the restaurant is open from 11am to 2pm, offering meals on site or making deliveries in the community.
Another important fact in this first year is that Saborearte is now fully legalized, a rare situation for businesses in the region. The other two businesses inaugurated by the program - the handmade soap and soap workshop Bolhas Coloridas, in Cidade de Deus, and the children's party services company Celebrando Festas & Cia, in Borel - are in the process of completing legalization.
