Award recognizes companies that support female entrepreneurship
As mulheres são o principal e o mais rápido caminho para o desenvolvimento de um país. Com essa premissa, o ELAS Fundo de Investimento Social promove o protagonismo e os direitos humanos das mulheres captando e investindo recursos em suas iniciativas. E para valorizar empresas, instituições, fundações e pessoas físicas que apoiam jovens meninas e mulheres, o ELAS abriu as inscrições para o prêmio Doar para Transformar edição 2010.
Prize Giving for change receives participations in May
People and institutions can register for the Giving for change Award until May 10, based on the date of posting at the post office, by sending information about the projects or organizations of girls, young people and women that they support. Journalists, meanwhile, must send their reports on social investment in them for analysis by the judges.
Donor circle reaches São Paulo and Brasília
To celebrate the month of mothers, the Women Investing in Women Donor Circle will be coming to São Paulo and Brasília. On May 17, at 7pm, women from São Paulo are invited to a Happy Hour at Café Paõn in Moema. Invitations to the event cost R$ 75.00, with part of the proceeds donated to ELAS' activities. The menu will include lots of food and drinks specially selected for the occasion.
